HOPE Academy eCourse Overview
The HOPE Academy is designed to address many of the lifestyle factors that affect cognitive health. Based on your answers to the Lifestyle Index Questionnaire, your healthcare team will develop an individualized set of recommendations to help you improve the health of your brain.
In addition to the support you will receive from one-on-one consultations with a Registered Dietitian and Health Coach, this HOPE Academy eCourse will provide you with the latest information and resources about lifestyle choices that affect your brain, including lessons on:
- Lesson 1 - Nutrition Please complete this course prior to your consultation with our Registered Dietitian.
- Lesson 2 - Physical Activity
- Lesson 3 - Sleep
- Lesson 4 - Stress Management
- Lesson 5 - Neuroplasticity
- Lesson 6 - Social Connections
Each lesson contains a video that explains important findings from research and simple ways to apply this knowledge to everyday life. Additionally, you will find a simple summary of the video topics and a number of resources and activities to help you make sustainable lifestyle changes.
While you will be able to go through the educational series at your own pace, it is recommended that you give yourself at least one week between each topic. This will allow you the time to complete the associate activities so you can better understand how each topic relates to your brain health, and work with your Health Coach to set goals for yourself.
